Questions, billing help, or feedback — here's how to reach us, with quick answers below.
For anything at all — how Mooring works, your subscription, account help, or feedback — email daniel@trymooring.com. A real person reads every message, and we usually reply within a couple of business days.
For privacy or data requests specifically, you can also reach us at privacy@trymooring.com.
Mooring is a wellness app for adults 18 and older. You talk through what's on your mind out loud (voice) or in writing (text journal), with an AI built to listen. It is not therapy, medical care, or a crisis service — it's a place to set something down before it gets heavier.
Open the app, choose a mode — Unload, Sort It Out, or Walk In Lighter — then pick voice or text. That's it. Most days you'll use one; some days both.
New subscribers start with a 3-day free trial that includes 10 minutes of voice along with text journaling, so you can try things out. A payment method is required at signup, and the subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
All subscriptions are billed through Apple, so you manage them in your Apple account rather than inside Mooring. On your iPhone: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Mooring, or visit apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid the next charge.
Because purchases are handled by Apple, refunds are requested through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something went wrong, email us too and we'll help however we can.
Voice sessions are processed live and never stored. Text journal entries are saved encrypted so you can return to them, and you can delete any entry — or all of them — at any time inside the app. For a full account or data deletion request, email privacy@trymooring.com. See our Privacy Policy for details.
No. Mooring is a wellness tool — not therapy, counseling, medical care, or a crisis service — and it does not diagnose or treat any condition. If you're going through something bigger than a hard day, please reach out to the resources below.
